About the Scholarships

Chevening Scholarships are usually awarded to people with strong academic background for a Master’s degree programme at any of the leading universities in the United Kingdom. Applicants are required to possess demonstrable leadership ability. About 44,000 individuals have benefited from the scheme since its inception. It has been announced that the 2016/2017 Chevening Scholarships will be awarded to around 1,500 qualified individuals from across the globe.

Applying for 2016/2017 Chevening Scholarships

Before commencing your application for 2016/2017 Chevening Scholarships, you are required to have the following in your possession:

• Two letters of reference written in English
• Valid ID (passport or national ID)
• Undergraduate and postgraduate transcripts
• Three preferred UK Master’s courses

You will also need to show you have met English language requirements and have been offered an offer to study for a Master’s degree in the UK latest by July 14, 2016.

Application Period
