Unveiled at IFA 2015 in Berlin, Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is an innovative Android tablet with an integrated video projector for seamless presentation on the go. The slate, which appears designed for solid multimedia experience, features a smaller body, Quad HD display and speedy processor.
Design and Display
The Yoga Tab 3 Pro shows off the same design as the Yoga Tab 2 Pro that was released last year. It has an adjustable hinge that lets you keep it in a stable position if you ever need to use the device for a quick presentation or watch movies hands-free. A metal frame and leatheresque fabric rear accentuate the premium feel of the device. Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro has a smaller body, thanks to a 10.1-inch IPS display – compared to its predecessor’s 13.3-inch screen. Users are in for a more immersive viewing experience as Lenovo has decided to keep screen resolution at 2560 x 1600 pixels.
Camera and Storage
You should be able to capture some great images with Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro looking at the cameras supplied. The 13-megapixel main camera appears ready to dish out some serious pictures. The 5-megapixel front-facing camera should enable you take amazing selfies as well. The tablet will come with internal storage memory of either 32GB or 64GB capacity, which will be expandable.

Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor, which runs at speeds of up to 2.24 GHz. The chip is assisted in its processing tasks by a decent 2GB of RAM. The slate will run on recent Android 5.1 Lollipop mobile operating system. Power needed to enjoy the impressive performance the device has to offer is supplied by a battery with a humongous capacity of 10,200 mAh.
One of the key features of Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 Pro is its integrated video projector, which allows users to beam a 70-inch image on a wall or ceiling – perfect for presentation or for watching movies with friends. Superb sound is also included in the package with four Wolfson-tuned speakers backed by Dolby Atmos technology for immersive surround sound. The Yoga Tab 3 Pro comes with regular connectivity options, including optional 3G and 4G LTE support.
Pricing and Availability
The tablet is expected to go on sale in November at a price of $499, which should put the selling in Nigeria in the region of N100,000. Obviously, this is not budget device, but the integrated projector might make it a great deal, as it allows you make presentations without a need for an extra piece of content projecting equipment.
