ASUS Zenfone Selfie crams in a massive 5.5-inch diagonal touch screen with Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels for awesome image clarity with a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch and ASUS TruVivid technology. Impressive effort was also put into ensuring the bezel around the display measures no more than 3.3 millimetres for a truly immersive viewing experience. The IPS display delivers 178-degree wide-angle viewing, making the smartphone great for enjoying movies with friends.

Camera

The main talking point of the ASUS Zenfone Selfie is in its camera department. The phone rocks an amazing 13-megapixel with F2.0 aperture, Dual LED flash and laser autofocus, which is fast and works well in poorly-lit settings. The laser autofocus feature is quite notable, given it was missing on the flagship Zenfone 2. ASUS also provides an awesome 13-megapixel on the front as well for your selfie needs. Power and Performance

ASUS Zenfone Selfie is driven by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor, which delivers speeds of up to 1.7 GHz and looks capable of providing a performance level that will leave you greatly impressed. Paired with ample 3 GB of RAM and an Adreno 405 GPU, this 64-bit chip should do a good job of driving high responsiveness and massively enjoyable movie watching or gaming experience. The Zenfone Selfie runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop OS, which has ASUS’ ZenUI skin laid on top of it. A decent 3000mAh battery supplies needed juice for getting the best out of the device.

Sundry Specs

Onboard storage is 32 GB and you will be able to add up to 64 GB more using a microSD card. ASUS Zenfone Selfie features two SIM slots and supports 4G LTE connectivity to allow you enjoy extremely fast data speeds on compatible networks. Its connectivity features include microUSB 2.0, Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac (5 GHz).

Announced in June 2015, ASUS Zenfone Selfie is scheduled to go on sale this July. How much it will sell for is not known, but a price in the region N55,000-N60,000 is being predicted – that will be a great bargain if true.
