Undergraduate students in federal and state universities across Nigeria are currently being invited to consider applying for the Seplat Joint Venture Undergraduate Scholarship Award Scheme 2015/2016.
This scholarship award scheme is sponsored by the Seplat Joint Venture, collaboration between Nigerian Petroleum Development Company Ltd. (NPDC) and Seplat Petroleum Development Company Plc. It is aimed at giving back to the country by way of providing financial assistance to qualified undergraduates in the country so as to promote education development and human capacity building.
Eligibility Conditions
You must meet the following conditions to be eligible to apply for the Seplat Joint Venture Undergraduate Scholarship Award Scheme 2015/2016:
• Have credit passes in a minimum of five O’ Level subjects (including English Language and Mathematics) at a sitting
• Be in, at least, second year of your study in university
• Be enrolled for any of the following courses of study:
– Accountancy
– Agricultural Engineering
– Agricultural Science
– Architecture
– Business
– Administration
– Chemical Engineering
– Civil Engineering
– Computer Engineering
– Computer Science
– Economics
– Electrical/Electronic Engineering
– Geology
– Geophysics
– Human Medicine
– Journalism
– Law
– Mass Communication
– Mechanical Engineering
– Metallurgical Engineering
– Petroleum Engineering
Application and Deadline
Proceed to the application page to fill the form provided there if you feel you meet all the eligibility conditions for the Seplat Joint Venture Undergraduate Scholarship Award Scheme 2015/2016. When completing your application, as is usual, you are expected to provide a valid email address and phone number via which you can be easily reached if you are eventually shortlisted.
It is important to note that you are not allowed to apply to take part in the Seplat Joint Venture Undergraduate Scholarship Award Scheme 2015/2016 if you are currently benefitting from any other scholarship award. Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted – I think people should have already become used to this phrase by now.
