Nigeria Agip Exploration (NAE) Limited is inviting application from suitably-qualified candidates to apply for its postgraduate scholarship awards for the 2016/2017 session.
These scholarships are offered by Nigeria Agip Exploration (NAE) on behalf the joint venture it has with the NNPC and Oando PSC. The Nigeria Agip Exploration postgraduate scholarship awards 2016/2017 are offered as part of the petroleum joint venture’s Community Investment (CI) programme. They are aimed at training and developing capable manpower in the country.
Applicants will be able to enjoy awards in either of two categories, namely:
– Overseas scholarships
– Local scholarships
Eligibility for Application
You need to meet the following criteria to be considered for the Nigeria Agip Exploration postgraduate scholarship awards 2016/2017:
* Possess first degree (Bachelor’s degree) qualification of at least Second Class Upper Division (2:1) from any recognised university in Nigeria.
* Not be older than 28 years by 31 December, 2016
* Completed the mandatory one-year National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) programme.
* Have an offer of admission to study in a domestic or foreign university in any of the following areas:
– Geosciences
– Engineering (Chemical, Civil, Electrical/Electronics, Marine, Mechanical, Petroleum or Subsea).
– Petroleum Economics
– Law (Petroleum/Oil and Gas)
Application and Deadline

You have until midnight Sunday 26 June, 2016 to get your application in, if you are interested and qualified.
Current and past beneficiaries of similar awards from either NAE or any other companies/agencies are not eligible to apply. NAE and affiliate company employees as well as their dependents are also not eligible to benefit from the Nigeria Agip Exploration postgraduate scholarship awards 2016/2017.
Assessment
Shortlisted applicants will be required to take a computer-based test (CBT) on Saturday 9 July, 2016.
Award worth
The Nigeria Agip Exploration postgraduate scholarship awards 2016/2017 will cover tuition, books, accommodation, field trips, living expenses and a return ticket (economy) for a course of study lasting a year.
