Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship Award 2016

Applications are currently being received for the 2016 edition of the annual Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship Award.

About the Scholarship

The Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship Award programme is a brainchild of Star Deep Water Petroleum Limited, a Chevron company and operator of the Agbami Field. It is part of the company’s corporate social responsibility or ‘Social Investment’ geared towards supporting capacity building in the country. Under the scheme, a number of scholarship awards are made to qualified undergraduates from all states in Nigeria for study within the country. Funds for the Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship Award are made available by Star and its Agbami joint venture partners.

Eligibility

* You must be in your first or second year of study in university
* You must be a full-time student (no part-timers)
* You must be enrolled for any of the following under-listed programmes:

– Medicine and Surgery
– Dentistry
– Pharmacy
– Engineering

Application and Deadline

If you think you are eligible for the Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship Award 2016, head on over to the scholarship page to submit your application. Please note that the scanned copies of the following are required when applying:

• Passport photograph with white background not more than 3 months old (450px by 450px not more than 200kb)
• School ID card
• Admission
• Letter Birth Certificate
• O’ Level Result
• JAMB Result
• Local Government Area Letter of Identification

The above should be named according to what they represent.

Interested students have until 9th March, 2016 to submit applications for the Agbami Medical and Engineering Professionals Scholarship Award. Endeavour to supply valid phone number and email address for easy contact if shortlisted.

Note that you are not eligible to apply for any other scholarship sponsored by Star or its co-venturers, such as the NNPC/CNL JV scholarship, that is advertised at the same time.
